THis was the most boring keynote ever!

Only small product updates!

Nothing really new besides 10.6....

yaaawn!

new? iPhone with no OLED and same design...

It's a bit faster now and battery life improved WOW, oh, and i almost forgot:

it can take videos!!!

Ok it's all about software...

Yeh it was a bit dull but at least it wosn't as bad as macworld, i fell asleep through that!

Here are the big announcements

1. iPhone 3G now half the price (8GB: $99, was $199)
2. iPhone OS 3.0 available in 10 days.
3. iPhone is improved, same price, double the storage.
4. Snow Leopard available in 3 months for $29.
5. Aluminum 13" MB now a MBP, w/ more features, lower price.
6. MBPs and MBAs are upgraded, with lower price.
7. Apple embraces SD Cards. (This shocks me)

In all, their entire notebook and mobile phone line was updated, along with their entire OS offerings.

The only things untouched were iPod, Apple TV, and desktop computers. Those typically have a September upgrade cycle.

MBA is the only device that could likely use an overhaul. I expect a redesigned MBA in 6-8 months: smaller, lighter, more RAM, stronger CPU, more peripherals, new trackpad. Perhaps it will just be a 13" MBP without the bulk necessary for a DVD drive.

Installed latest QT and still only sound is coming through!!
