This is terrible!! I was just telling a friend of mine how dangerous Apple stores are becoming. Now I have to lock my car doors and drive a little faster every time I pass by one. I will not be able to sleep tonight since I live blocks away from an Apple store. Thanks 9to5 for being the only Apple news site to cover this tragic story!! I wonder how this is going to effect stock prices?? OMYYYYYYYYYYYYGGGGGGGGG!! Sad day for Apple fans everywhere.

I was saying the same thing! Gosh darn it, Apple stores are so scary! Nonetheless, if you are after money, why would you go to an Apple store. I never see actual minted currency exchanging hands when I'm at an Apple store.

we had a genius appt at the clarendon store for tomorrow...they called us and canceled claiming it was "due to circumstances beyond their control"

You do realize they keep 15 minute appointments with every customer? They do what they do INCREDIBLY quickly. There's just a lot of people expecting more from Apple than from any other company out there. If Microsoft were brave enough to open retail stores with genius bars, I suspect the lines would be miles long.

What a whaco, you don't pull out guns in an Apple store, or anywhere else for that matter. Hope she recovers well... perhaps Steve will visit her, if he's a good boss.

People shouldn't be frightened away by these kind of things. It's the USA, this can happen anywhere with that kind of small-arms policies.
