Intel releases first 45nm Xeon CPUs. All dressed up and nowhere to go?
Mon, 11/12/2007 - 01:19 — Seth Weintraub
Intel has released their new 45nm Penryn chips. Yet, as of this morning there are no manufaturers listed as takers of the new chip. Obviously if you are reading this here you aren't expecting HP or Lenovo announcements. So, ahem... Apple, what are you waiting for?
If you are into that sort of thing, we have some CPU porn after the break:

Nope, you're completely wrong man, Alienware announced they WILL BE using it just like many others (HP and Dell). Untill they ship it's nothing but bluff and their actual boxes won't be in the market 'till January . Apple could also be announcing a Nehalem chip for their MacPro but that chip won't be available for some time, do you really understand the difference or not?
