Seems the tech pundits are convinced its Android-based systems which are going to trample on Apple’s turf - though it’s worth considering that Windows Mobile already seems the earliest victim of the Google experience. After all, they've been the OS behind the majority of iPhone clones.
Enter the Android Aphone A6, an iPhone clone that’s powered by Google’s mobile OS (there’s video below).
This device has more than a passing physical resemblance to the iPhone, but runs Android (1.5). Features include touch controls, a 3.5" capacitive touchscreen display, 130MB RAM, 256MB internal memory, a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0 and Wi-Fi, though UberGizmo notes complaints at the screen being a little unresponsive. There’s also a trackball hidden underneath the display. Take a look at the device going through its paces in this video (not available in some countries).

Really?
Well, I'm not sure that all the tech pundits are saying that. The highest profie pundits here in the states seem to be saying that Android will trample all over the BlackBerry and Pre. But there are a lot of reservations out there. Here are some recent quotes from high-profile publishers:
Wired quoting Gartner's Ken Dulaney: “The Droid will compete against the Storm and the Curve.”
NYTimes: "So is it true? Is the Droid an iPhone killer? No, but it’s certainly a killer phone"
NPR: "Joshua Topolsky, editor-in-chief of the technology blog Engadget, had a few weeks to play with the device. So is it an iPhone killer? "No," he tells NPR's Guy Raz"
ComputerWorld: "Android could become yet another failed partnership among selfish, oafish industry heavyweights."
PCWorld: "In recent weeks, Research In Motion announced two new smartphones, the revamped BlackBerry Storm 2 and the Bold Both are impressive phones in their own right, but neither is garnering the buzz that surrounds the Motorola Droid."

I like the trackball, I wish the iPhone had it.
Here are a few things I dislike about the iPhone:
ATT
No satellite GPS
No trackball
No replacable battery.
Not really sure if I dislike not having a physical keyboard...
No satellite GPS?? How else
No satellite GPS?? How else do you think GPS works?
