32Gb iPod touch $494 with free shuffle ($49 value)
Amazon is offering the 32Gb iPod Touch for less than the Apple Store AND throwing in a free iPod shuffle ($49 value). Does this mean iPod price cuts are coming? Before you answer... Amazon also offers an 8Gb iPod Nano for $174 - or $149 refurbished - the retail price of a 4Gb Nano. Just saying...

Isn't it possible that Apple will discontinue the Shuffle 1GB, and that Amazon needs to empty the shelves?
no, they will continue the 1gb shuffle, $45 is an attractive price and it will gain them customers
apple store is down <_<
They probably realize that relatively few people will purchase a $49 1GB when you can buy a 2GB for $69.

I hope they are not discontinuing the 1GB Apple iPod Shuffle as it provides a cheaper alternative for those who will not use their iPod frequently and only need to store a few songs.
The price on these will continue to drop slowly. I just don't see why someone wouldn't get an iPhone and be done with it!! :)
