Apple approves first 'adult' app for iPhone, iPod touch
Apple has approved the first GrindHouse Mobile adult application for the App Store - though it did reject an initial offering from the developers as being too “explicit”.
Announcing version 1.0 of the first and only official pornstar iPhone application for Sunny Leone and the official application for adult star Aria Giovanni, the developer explained:
The first version of Sunny Leone's App was declined due to the explicit nature of the content. "It was just a little too 'hot' for Apple's compliance department," said a representative from Grindhouse. "We worked closely with Apple to meet all of their guidelines while developing an offering that is compelling and user friendly."
Adult star Sunny Leone's first app, the free "lite version" that offers exclusive pictures, a blog and video clips, is now available.
Version 2.0, a premium version with more features, photo sets and videos is currently awaiting approval. Version 2.0 includes new interactive features, games, and blogs.
Former Penthouse Pet, Aria Giovanni’s application is also currently available in the App Store. Version 2.0 is pending approval and will include several new features and more content.

that is stupid! this will just lead to worse stuff and continue to ruin and run our lives and make apple look less like a respectable company!
I'm outraged! This is going to waste valuable time that Apple could better spend lying to the FCC!
Ugh. Are there not enough outlets for porn? Yet another platform succumbs to the demands of the male crotch.
sex sells, even on itunes.
the "oh no please no porn" whiners are sure from the u.s. - aren't you?^^
What, porn isn't accessible enough? This is going to continue the downward spiral of our society. People aren't going to be working, they're going to be looking at porn in the name of free speech.
the collapse of the pensions industry (and our pensions) and the need for most of us to spend most every spare penny we earn in tax in order to finance support for the collapsed banking sector, is there any point working at all any more?
This is quite disturbing. It's not that porn is not accessible already on the iPhone. No one is blocking explicit web sites. I'm sure you can find plenty of apps for jailbroken iPhones that give you porn access.
I am starting to lose a lot of respect for Apple.
Oh poor you, a scary soft porn application!
Grow up, you don't want it, you don't buy it, capice?
Put parental control on your phone, if you are afraid!
And BTW, don't make decisions for me please...!
Don't censor us with your religious stuff.
Wow, don't you folks have more important things to worry about? As for me, I'm going to download this app and check it out with my fiancée--porn isn't just for men.
What is everyone's problem! If you dont want this "Oh so dangerous" App dont get it. although you can find pretty much all those pics just by searching google. if you want an app that shows you organized pictures, or one that makes fart sounds or one that lets you pretend to pour a glass of beer down your throat, then you should be able to go ahead and waste your time. but dont tell me what i can or cannot do on my own computer/phone/whatever.
And why is this Apple's fault? I wish they would just let me create the apps I want and use the apps I want. It shouldn't be up to them to control what i look at on my iPhone, just as I wouldnt want them to start messing around with what websites i can look at on my Mac.
Oh I forgot...God will smite you down and make you blind if you use this app. :p
People! You should use a LITERACY app first!
This is a "Porn STAR" app! Toned down so that it is not, in fact, PORN!
Personally, I would think this would be even stupider than actual porn, but to each his own!
And, no, I have no interest in this. There is much better actual porn or even 'soft core' on the internet if desired. And, yes, I also think it's unfortunate that lame stuff like this and 'fart apps' etc. show up in the Apple store. But it's a reflection on the people who download them, not Apple. Just like Barnes and Noble sells Playboys and girls.
Censorship becomes a very fine line with potentially VERY negative results. Don't go there!
Whiners make me sick. Apple is damned if it does allow it and damned if it doesn't. You could find worse stuff by using Safari on the iPhone. What is the big deal? Why would an app you don't have to download be a threat to anyone? I personally think smut should be allowed on the iPhone, though not through the Apple Store. It's their store to decide what they allow or don't allow. Keep the App Store PG rated for all I care. If users want to load up their iPhones with porn, then use iPhoto or convert some porn DVDs to iPhone videos. It's so easy to do, why bother with an application.
I will be the first to tell you that I downloaded this app. Well guess what folks, there was no nudity, no porn, no even remotly provocative material. All it is a model who happens to also be a pornstar posing for pictures. Also this app is not new at all because I downloaded it about a month ago.
I had downloaded this app in my ipod touch too..
But It's had not any of I want to get.
disappointment..............
