why the heck do 9to5mac blog entries always pop up multiple times in the feed reader? i am reading really a DOZEN feeds, but 9to5 mac is the ONLY feed where postings are "double-posted". pleeeease fix that. i like your posts, but its really anoying that i have to read them twize (or even more times)..
I emailed them asking them. It must be a problem with their RSS feed. It's so annoying. If they don't fix it by the time Leopard comes out, I'm removing them from my OPML.
Completely agreed. I'm sick of coming back after a day of work and finding 100 "new" stories that are the same 10 from the last week over and over again.

Whatever the final build is, it'll be out there within hours. It's been the same for a few years now. I remember downloading loads of builds of the Public Beta and seeing which one was finally the release version. Ridiculous really as they all sucked.
Apple took a week to get TIger to me after it was officially released; I could have downed it within a day from multiple places on the web. Maybe if they shipped to pre-order customers early so that the OS arrived on the day of the release it might cut this down a bit, but I doubt it. I mean, if you can get the OS for free, then there's no shortage of people who will like that price. Going to the Apple store, you still can't pre-order it so they're hardly doing themselves any favours. Here we are, potentially 2 weeks away from the apparent release date and we still can't pre-order.

Come on, 9to5 Mac, we both know the reality that a torrent might very well leak onto the Internet at some point, but do you really have to encourage this kind of behavior? I mean, unlike CDs, for example — which almost justify piracy with their high pricing — an operating system for $99 is not an unreasonable price.
