I call fake. It's a photo of a psd file. I'm not a fan of what they look like either.

I am really uncertain...but I don't think they look all that bad. I don't think these will be the new "Nanos" per se. I think they will replace them but didn't this site say that the new iPods would be Touch, Video, and Pico replacing Video, Nano and Shuffle respectively? It is usually how Apple works, isn't it? When they make an upgrade to their line such as this, the put that at the current highest price point and move the others down the line?

All we need now is a fake "Apple Legal told us to take down the pictures".

This iPod is clearly fake. In this photo, [http://att.macrumors.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=83081&d=1187812651] the only modifications to the image are that the ipod is upright and has the speakers. Do you see how crocked the screen is? Also, your Applelegal request is also probably fake, anybody can post up "Applelegal requested to take down the photo".

If they made up that apple legal put it down they'd have no reason to do it. I believe apple legal did make them take it down. I think they are fakes but look similar to the real thing.

Microsoft, Creative and others will finally get a break against Apple. These are ugly, ugly iPods and no one will buy them.

I pray that these are fake. If not, then my current iPod is my last. Ugh!

maybe Apple asked them to take it down because, come on; you may not even tune into the iPod release Press Conference if you think THAT's what you are getting =(

the current Nano generation looks pretty cool, as did the last; and I do hope it wont go down the path these photos indicate.

Apple legal didn't call you guys, the same picture is posted on macrumors.com, and apple legal would have called them also and have had them take the picture down!
Also, what about the iPod, we are hearing things about the iPod nano, what about the video? Are they not coming out at the same time? And why is apple so late for an update on them? On average, iPods are updated every 223 days... but we are now on the 345th! Thats way late apple! I hope this is worth the wait! 345 days for a new update on the ipod??? Why? Whats in the works? Better be something big, not just a small update, and hopefully soon!

I personally love the comment on the current ipod being the poster's last because they're ugly. i always choose my tech gadgets on cuteness. top priority. i usually put the quality of the product about number seven or eight on my checklist. good call, brah.

How about the fact that the 'leaked photo' is formatted to look like an advertisment...one that is a poor rip-off of the new iWork ads? Objects arranged around a pentagon-shaped white space...c'mon...
