i've just returned a half year old MB 13" to my local mac service store, because the airport card stopped workin... they told me that they've changed the logicboard also and then needed to replace the display. Now it' seems to make sense :)
you should tell us what is before and what is after!
You can't tell which is the after? The one on the left has the new keyboard if you look closely.
haha - and if you look even more closely, you'll realize that I'm an idiot :)
the picture is low-res. i'll forgive you ;)
old on right, new on left according to the original article
deeper blacks..... me likey :D
should we all bring our new unibodys back and demand an upgrade?
yes tell me about it!!!
I purchased my macbook approximately one week after it was introduced. I used terminal to input this command:
ioreg -lw0 | grep IODisplayEDID | sed "/[^<]*
and received this result:
P .00 6
B133EW04 V0
Color LCD
so it would appear some people were getting the au screen last fall even though it is an older version.
