Probably the whole row went to the talk with the intentions of throwing eggs but that fat loser was the only one who balled up and actually went through with it. Just like the scene in Stripes where Bill Murray acts like he's going to step forward and then doesn't, letting Harold Ramis take the blame.

That guy has a candy arm if he couldn't hit that fat prick with an egg from up in that seat. Instead of playing video games all day and decorating shirts with magic marker he apparently needs to get out of his parents' basement and get some real exercise.
That's actually quite scary, and I would be pretty pissed and scared if I were Ballmer. What if it had been a grenade? Ok, that's a bit extreme, but I bet he's hiring a lot more security now!

It's a bad idea to attack people with eggs or anything else. Its smarter to use your published words. Throwing eggs these days just looks like a fame-gathering technique for some YouTube-crazy wanna-be.

ballmer, your worth a bundle! hire some security. i would have loved to seen this bozo gang tackled by security, handcuffed, and led off to jail. 2 yrs. of hard labor and no access to computers seems about right. i'm now a mac fan only but society needs to squash these increasing outbursts anywhere they happen.

Personally I also cringed when that guy did that. But I'm sad I feel that way, since Ballmer deserves to see real peoples reactions to his corporate agenda!

Balmer is a goof, but eggs frikkin hurt. I hit a kid in the face with an egg once when I was a kid, and I could tell it hurt and it left a mark. I felt really bad about it. If somebody hit me with an egg, I would consider it well-deserved.
