iOS 4.3: Gains 'Find My Friends'?

Yet another feature hidden within iOS 4.3 seemingly hidden within the plethora of reports on the future update yesterday comes the ‘Find My Friends’ tag, a new facility which suggests the ability to find iOS-using friends kept within your MobileMe address book.

Hidden inside the Settings App this suggests Apple may seek to offer location-based friend-finding facilities in future products. So, for example, you could easily keep up with your mates when wandering in the center of town. So long as you opt-in to the system. Don’t neglect of course that Apple CEO Steve Jobs has previously promised Mobile Me will improve in 2011.
