Apple internally acknowledges MacBook Air bug

Whoops!  It looks like Apple is well aware of some issues plaguing those awesome little MacBook Airs released last month.  BGR has a new Apple Genius ninja whose been snapping screenshots of the internal Apple computers lately and grabbed this one:

To summarize what Apple won’t say publicly:

  • Fix is closing the lid, wait 10 seconds and re-open it.  That recycles the power to the display (which appears to be the issue)
  • Apple aren’t issuing fixes or replacements (deal with it)
  • A software update it coming
  • Geniuses should smile and say that Apple is aware of the issue and is working on a solution.  Have a nice day.
