We’ve heard that iWork for iPhone will come with Pages and Numbers as a universal binary for all iOS Devices.

Here’s a complete screenshot walkthrough of Pages for iPhone:

Any word on a release date? I was excited when iWork was announced for the iPad but since I don’t own an iPad I’ve been unable to purchase iWork.

Can’t wait to see iWork on my iPhone 4! :)

I hope they are working on fixing all the glaring bugs, errors and omissions in iWork for iPad at the same time. If they really expect people to do productive things on iOS instead of just consuming media, they really need to step up their game about a hundred and fifty percent.

How did you get this software?

What is the “Inspector” icon for?

The UI looks fake, incomplete in the best of the cases.
Even my quick mockup looks better. LOL

      Wow, looks great :D

It sure is fake. Look at the buttons for bold, italic and underlined text. They aren’t aligned even. I think that’s a thing Apple would do. You can also see a bit of noise in the pictures which isn’t usual for iPhone screenshots. I just can’t believe that these pictures are real screenshots of iWork for iPhone. Another thing: it seems weird to me that all these screenshots where made in a 3 minute timescape, and that the time is presented in a 24 hour time format in stead of the default English AM/PM time format. Just sayin’

I’ve been waiting for Pages on iOS for years. The Notes app is too basic, and Google Docs is read-only on iOS devices. Looking forward to getting off of Google Docs.

  7. 5to9Mac says:

Whoa. Inspector is a debugging tool, isn’t it?

  8. tekunoloji says:

OMG. Hopefully at least 90% of the iPad version makes the transition over to iPhone.

I call fake. The “My Documents” icon should not be blue. I believe as a rule blue is a color reserved for “New items.” The shading on the toolbar is not right. It shouldn’t be that glossy. The Bold, Italic and Underline do not lineup. The “Modern Photo Letter” appears to be the wrong font as well. The whole thing looks suspicious.

Mark – you do realize that this is a complete fake – don’t you ? It took me 0.5 second to notice that the cancel button on the first screenshot “after the break” is blue while the second is black and the graphs are just preposterous.

Its a shame you’re putting your site’s watermark on this garbage and blogging them. :-/

Total faked photoshopped and really badly too

They have the old NavBar underneath, none of the tab icons are straight, the contrast changes a lot within what is meant to be a few seconds. Plus a lot of artifacting, double shadows and blurring, when some sections are sharp.

Let’s analyze the the text in the third picture.

“All your documents will be synced wirelessly over the air with all your iPhones, iPod touches, and iPads”

    Repetition of the word “All”
    Puntual Errors
No capitalization of the word “touches”
    “All your” is completely
Referring to the devices, impersonally and plurally

And we’re supposed to believe Apple did this?? We aren’t stupid.

    The Apple-Friendly Version
“All of your documents will be synced wirelessly, over the air, with your iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad.” or something along those lines.
