Interesting to note – since when did Apple use the iPad like text bubble style Popoveresque information bubbles?
Is this the slow creep of Apple bringing iPad interface to the Apple site, and then bringing it to the Mac?
(we await the 64 bit iTunes X, but we’ve already seen apple.com creep towards becoming iPad friendly, and rejig layouts to do this, change styling, and incorporate some other new features (iTunes Preview for example)).
The iPhone / iPad OS being the next MacOs already? Why not…

So I’m guessing the larger icon necessary for the binary isn’t significant? Used for animations? I don’t recall app icons on the iPad being any bigger than those of the iPhone…
That’s what I thought. They’re might be some transition or something we haven’t seen in the SDK in the final build. Personally, I’d love it if they implemented the zoom effect used in the Mac OS, when clicking on applications.
But they are indeed bigger on the iPad. Get the sim, measure yourselves…

DPI is usually referred to a printed medium (ie paper). Dunno why they are referencing DPI, when the resolution is enough

DPi will also be used to make sure the file will look good when zoomed. Lower dpi, lower quality when zoomed. if you use a 72DPI picture and print as 4*6 it looks ok. If the same 72DPI picture is printed in the larger than 10*12, 300DPI is preferable, for proper depth.
