My MacPro did the 420MB update, but my wifes Intel iMac only had a 198MB 10.5.3 upgrade done to hers. What gives?
My iMac is running faster after the update. Way to go Apple!
I got a 198Mb Update too.
intel macbook, I got the full 420meg file. looks like it reindexes the search database after install, took five mins or so. overall way way faster than 10.5.2

My dl was 198 mb. MB Intell 1.83ghz.
Received an error on install. I think it was my MS Intellitype drivers. On startup they pulled the cpu hard. I quit them and everything is fine.
198Mb update for me...not sure why some people get the 420Mb one!
Seems fine so far

it seems like me MBP is running slower after update..
It bricked my macbook. I had to archive & install from my leopard disc. I don't have any application enhancers. Dang it. Let me know when it's stable.
It's stable....
LOL it is stable :-) i run it on 9 machines now.
Hi Dougs -
Check your posting again.
It shows "Pre Update" as being 10.5.3 and 118 overall score.
It shows "Post Update" as being 10.5.2 and 114.
Typo somewhere, but I would love to know if the update really slowed down your machine.
got the 198Mb update on my macbook. the first restart took really long, but now it works fine. can't feel a performance change.....
M-Audio just went public with my 10.5.2 Firewire drivers 2 weeks ago. Wonder how long they will take to get 10.5.3 in the wild. I just hope there is a Beta 10.5.3 driver close by.
Hopefully it'll be able to remember connected server passwords now. :)
To the original poster: to get a cleaner grab of the window, use cmd+shift+4 then hit space. Your cursor will turn into a camera and it'll take a perfect snap of the window! Better than having funny edges.
i'm making a little post about this here: http://primitivemachine.net/post/36371944/perfect-screengrab-of-a-window
4:20!
Yea your right i just typed it wrong.. they are the reversed of what is posted
