10.5.6 coming tomorrow? We think not!

Update....looks like we were all wrong...soon tho.

We just got word that there was going to be a big software update tomorrow at Apple.  Specifics weren't given but it is likely that it will be 10.5.6.  AI had the news earlier today that it was coming soon.  How does our source know?  We'll tell you if he's right tomorrow.  He might be on to something...

Oh and that Netgear thing?  We got blueballed.  All of their stuff is crap anyway.

Every day after Woot sells a Bag of Crap (BOC), Apple releases a major update the next day, I swear! Last time it was iPhone/iPod Touch 2.2, this tomorrow it will be 10.5.6. Just you wait and see...

Actually we've cot a contact at Apple call centers.  They ramp up their headcount with about 200 temporary workers on the week of an update. 

200 extra people are scheduled to come in on Friday.

but good guess.

Looks like the cocky admin was wrong. It's Saturday.. and 9 to 5 hasn't bothered typing up a "Sorry! We were wrong" post.

Not so good. There has been no seed since last week that contains 'No Known Issues' to allow this to go RTM. The '200' -if your 'contact' actually works for Apple, at all- were brought on for the firmware update which is sure to screw up a lot of folks. Next week; maybe. January for sure.

It could be new iTunes with only music content free of DRM. How I hope this over some 10.5.6.

How about Netgear ReadyNAS? Especially ReadyNAS Pro? Also crap?

Actually ReadyNAS is awesome but since Netgear bought them, I am sure they will switch out good parts with the crappiest they can find.  We'll see how it goes

Time has passed from the new seeding to be release this week. Usually it's two weeks from the final Dev seed to RTM. Merry Xmas...bitches.

No update yet, and I don't think there will be one today. It isn't Tuesday. Apple likes Tuesdays.
